Silane has a good effect on the coating of glass or metal surfaces. It can significantly improve the adhesion between the coating and the substrate, thus improving the overall chemical and weather resistance of the coating. Typical applications are bridge, primer for heavy-duty coating on ships, surface decoration coating of glass container and so on.
Among them, FEIDIAN has the most widely used silanes. Epoxy silanes have good compatibility with coatings of different resin systems. For example, epoxy, acrylic and polyurethane resins can be used with epoxy silanes. With the increasing attention to VOCs, the global paint "oil to water" has been forming a trend, and the epoxy silanes in water-based system can also provide relatively good storage stability.
