Application:
1. Powder modification: FD-171 is type of methoxylsilane, which has strong reactivity with inorganic filler surface. It can be applied to the surface modification of inorganic flame retardants such as aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, which can improve the dispersion of filler, increase the compatibility with polymerization, and improve the flame retardant effect.
2. Resin modification: This product used in the modified resin industry. Silico-oxygen bonds and alkoxy groups can be introduced into polymers by copolymerization or grafting. Silicon-oxygen bond itself has good comprehensive properties, which can improve the toughness, weather resistance, water resistance and other properties of the polymer. The introduction of alkoxy group increases the cross-linking points during the cross-linking curing of polymer, which can increase the cross-linking density, improve the compressive and tensile strength of polymer, reduce the polymer decomposition during creep, and improve the memory characteristics.
3. This product can be used in the presence of double bond reaction, such as polyethylene composite additives, improve material mechanics, flame retardant properties. It can also be used as the surface modifier of the filler used in polyethylene composites.
